Budget Gaming PC

I'm new to building custom PCs and would like to build a gaming PC.   I would like to build a computer that can play games but at the same time I can also browse and video chat while im gaming.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Budget: $800-$950

Games: Starcraft 2, Skyrim, Diablo 3

I would hope that the PC would last me about 5 years before i would have to upgrade again to keep up with future games.  Currently I am using two 2048x1152 monitors but I will upgarde to two 4k montions.

This is my current plan but I'm new and not sure if this is a good plan.

CPU: AMD A10-7850K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+ ATX FM2+ Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400

Memory Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Video Card: (2x) MSI Radeon R7 250 1GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)

Case: Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case

Don't get a discrete GPU with an APU. Get rid of the APU and downgrade the RAM to 1600MHz or 1866MHz. Why would you crossfire R7 250s? Get one more powerful card.

Build: CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k | CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo | Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | RAM: 8GB G-Skill Ares 1600Mhz CL9 | Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo + WD Blue 1TB 64MB Cache + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 64MB Cache | GPU: MSI GTX 960 | Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer | Power Supply: EVGA 600B Non-Modular |

Check on the builds in my signature.

I have one that is about $850

It is hard to build something much more powerful than this for $850 but it is possible.

Crossfire/SLI isnt really worth it if you wont go with dual 780/780ti or dual r9 290/r9 290x.

The Radeon R7 250 is about 25% as powerful as a GTX 660 and it makes for pretty good 1080p gaming.
GTX 660 performence wise is between a 750ti and 760.

the
Radeon R7 250 is not even close for 4k use.
If you are going 4k you should really have atleast a r9 280x or gtx 770ti if you want good framerates at medium/high graphics
in games such as Skyrim and battlefield4.

I was watching a youtube video and some guy suggest  dual R7 250s.  There are so many video cards out there, its hard to research them all so I just watch people who build low budget gaming PC and build based on their suggestion.

I recommend using

www.GPUboss.com

www.CPUboss.com

To research graphics cards and processors.

The R7 250 is pretty much suicide if you are going 4k soon.

You'd want a bigger psu for some headroom. The 450w psu will probably be enough but I'd rather get a lower rated and larger psu at this point.

No point getting a k series cpu if you're not going to oc. You need a zX7 motherboard to oc.

Btw, if you're going to use pcpartpicker, you might as well post the permalink.

I am breaking the budget a little but I have some buffer zone.  I just dont want to get too far out of the budget range.
