msata raid 0 vs single SSD

Sup Guys,

For my laptop (CLEVO P151SM1) i purchased a SSHD, but im not feeling as though it is fast enough for me, it has 2 msata slots and 1 2.5" and im not fussed about space considering that all of my movies and 'stuff' is on a network storage.

so here is my question:

What will give me the best response/speed for the OS and all the apps i use (blender/gimp) but for less than $200?

for example (Australian prices)

2x Samsung 840EVO 120gb mSATA = $198 ($99 each)

vs

1x Samsung 840EVO 250gb = $179

Get the MX100 256GB sata version or even 512GB, if it fits your bill.
