So I want to upgrade my current build and my Current parts are http://pcpartpicker.com/b/qYycCJ (Please forgive me for the horrible cable management It's been fixed as of 2 weeks). I was thinking I should upgrade my Mobo and Case. I want to go full ATX but I'm completely clueless on what motherboard to get :|. I plan to 1080p gaming and a lot of video editing. My budget is $200 USD I'm looking for full ATX. As for the Case I'm not looking for anything too flashy but it has to have a good look to it and I need something where cable management is easy. My case budget is $100.

Also thanks for the help <3

Why upgrade just the motherboard? As long as the current one is working, you'll get pretty much nothing out of it.

True but I need more ports and I'm tired of having no USB 3.0 on my front IO .-.

What do you feel needs upgrading?

Get a USB hub or whatever. I would upgrade the GPU, that's the weeklink. Or even better, get an SSD in there. Then upgrade the GPU when then next generation of them comes out.

Since my budget is about $300 what should I get? I'm kind of clueless on what hardware to get :\

I would just wait, the only thing worth doing now is adding an SSD. Get a 120-250gb if you want, 840 EVO is a good choice.

Try this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Storage: Crucial MX100 512GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($212.99 @ Amazon)

Case: NZXT Phantom 240 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($59.99 @ TigerDirect)

Total: $272.98

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Case is only my preference. As for the GPU, i'd wait and save money for R-300 series.
