compatibility question

Go to solution Solved by miyabwah,

Yes, it's a graphics card. It only needs a PCI-E connection. You could even use it on a PCI-E 1.1 motherboard, and you'd see little performance drop.

Can i use a PCIe 3.0 graphics card with a FM2 motherboard that has PCIe 3.0 and FM2 CPU?

What?

If you have a PCIe 3.0 slot, then its going to be compatible with any card that requires that slot. Same thing with a CPU. It doesnt get any more clear than that. :)

Just make sure the card fits your case.

You can also use PCPARTPICKER as a guide to tell if parts are compatible with each other. Most of the time PCPARTPICKER is pretty accurate...If you know nothing about how parts work, have someone look over them on here just to make sure.
