What' should I get

Currently I have ASUS-HD7870-DC2-2GD5-V2-Radeon-HD-7870-GHz-Edition-2GB-256-bit-GDDR5-

I was planing on upgrading my GPU should I buy another asus 7870 and cross fire the finding them for about 100 or should I just get like 280x or 290??

7970's are now becoming dirt cheap. You could run a pair but that's up to you.

R9 290 pretty good, I have one in my brother's system (slight over-kill but meh)

 

If you want go to OC3D on their twitter/facebook they're running a giveaway for 2 7970's/R9 280X's @Mastermonkey

290 Tri-x all the way and sell your current GPU after you get your R9 290 and make sure That it works.
