I had a thread about this before, but that was a few days ago, and I tried a lot more things and got more info.

Alright so it started when i rage quit from CS:GO and launched Skyrim 20 times. (I have a double click button on my mouse I held down.) After that everything froze made a terrible noise until I hit the switch on my PSU.

I booted back into OS went on youtube to watch some videos again and like a third into the video my computer froze, again with a terrible noise. Seems the noise only happens sometimes.   The same day I tried installing windwows SP1 for the millionth time, and it never worked. So I went to the restore point before I installed SP1, The freezing was still there.

My PC would freeze whenever I tried to play a game, benchmark, or just go on the internet. Everything would be fine if I didn't touch my keyboard or mouse, it would never freeze if I wouldn't touch it.

After many installs of programs and CMOS cleared it still went on, so I installed windiws onto another hard drive. And it still happens.

I swapped out my RAM, still happens, disconnected SLI, and my 2nd GPU, still happens, so at this point I have no idea what's wrong. I also think something messed up somewhere because I don't think it can boot into OS without me having the CD in..

At this point I just want my computer back, and I'm out of ideas. Any help here, would be greatly appreciated and if you don't know, please ask around? It's an expensive piece of junk I put a lot of my time into, and I hate to see it just broke like this.

(I'm on a small backup laptop right now just to clear that up.)

I had the same problem, and I know it is very annoying, especially considering the hardware you have.

The way I fixed it was upgrading my operating system. I first tried to reinstall Windows 7, but that didn't fix the problem. Then I installed Windows 8, and everything worked perfectly.

I personally have no idea why that is, but that is what worked for me. I think it must be some hardware which was not optimized for Windows 7. However when I flashed my BIOS and went back to Windows 7, it worked perfectly. Though I am not sure if that is what fixed it.

I am not sure, but try to flash your BIOS. If you are afraid, try installing a different operating system.

I hope that has helped you.

Let me know the results.

I'm going insane. I got a BIOS switch for  second BIOS on my mobo, so I switched that, and it won't even boot into BIOS. So I tryed to flash BIOS but it can never find the bios I put on the USB. Im going insane. Anything I need to know to do in order to flash BOIS correctly?

Just wiggle them around. Mine looked all in place too.

Yeahh it's the motherboard. I got on the phone with MSI support and everything they told me to do didn't work. I need a file from other owners with this motherboard. I need a bios file from then that should work.

Weid. I'll look into the motherboard you posted above.

Try to boot your computer in safe mode by pressing the F8 key on startup and choosing Safe Mode. Note you will have to tap the F8 key since I don't really know when you need to press it, lol.Let's see if this occurs in safe mode also.

Also after searching online, some people are saying it's the video card drive. Uninstall it and reinstall it. Anyway, safe mode will use the basic Windows' driver, I think.

Alright, don't know how I can test much in safe mode, but I'm doing it. Also, how should I go about the graphic drivers if everything just freezes? Can I do that in safemode as well?

Safemode works well so far.

Huh, it must be some virus. Well not virus since you just installed a fresh copy. Then thi9s must be one of your drivers, most likely your video card driver. Uninstall your driver and reinstall. Update it or downgrade it, whichever works for you.
