Steam games on amazon

hey i am wondering if the steam keys on amazon are region locked or are they region free?

 

if anyone can help with this would be muchly appreciated

I don't think they will be... People from places WAY far away from me sell games on G2A and they activate fine.

That's not a valid assumption. STEAM keys can absolutely be region locked, no matter where they are sold. Also, beyond region locking, games can often have language restrictions.

I would think that they would be region locked to whatever version of Amazon's site you're on (US key on the .com domain, UK key on the .co.uk domain)
