nvidia doesn't allow physX on other brand hardware. For Intel and AMD GPUs it's generally recommended that You turn it off as it has been written to run badly on CPUs. But since mafia 2 is an old game and You are Probably getting high framerates you can try it on the CPU.

you can get an nvidia card for that matter, AMD doesnt support the thing & the physx workload has to offloaded to CPU, instead of getting an nvidia GPU you might wanna invest on a more powerful CPU , to be fair physx only comes with afew games & it's not worth switching to a new GPU for that matter , rather spend it on a Mid/high end CPU that can handle the computation.
