Case modding for profit?

Go to solution Solved by scaryjam823,

How many people do you think would hear about you with you being virtually unknown, want that case you chose modified, then have the money to spend. Got a number in mind? Divide that by 75%, even then  you'll be lucky. Do it for fun until you build a name for yourself if you want, but don't expect to be making money from it.

I had no other idea where to put this other than this section, so I put it here.

Is case modding something you can make profit on?

You see places like Lutro0 Customs and MNPC Tech with mod supplies, and they do fine, but is buying a case, modding it, whatever theme, then reselling it for profit a good idea whatsoever?

I have a very creative mind and thought flow, and I'm plenty handy with the tools I have, which is about everything that isn't CNC Machining hardware, so modding is something I'd be very talented at.

Really, it comes down to if there would be a demand. Would people want to buy a pre-modded case, and would it be enough to cover costs of parts plus some for profit?

What do you think?

Do any of you have suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time mates,

Maple

Sadly making a business in computer modding is harder than it sounds. I have seen so many people think that it would be a good idea to start up a custom sleeving shop thinking that they were going to make a ton of money. most of the time I Saw them burn themselves out trying offer to low prices or nobody knew about them so they wouldn't buy.

my best suggestion is to just enjoy it as a hobby for right now once you have a few mods under your belt then try to get a few sponsorships once you have a few sponsorships under your belt then maybe consider starting up a business but even then it's an incredibly hard business to get into with so many choices already out there
