Chrome and KitKat...

So back when my S4 mini was running 4.2.2 when I closed all my chrome tabs the browser stayed open and had a button for starting new tabs but I can't do that anymore because chrome now closes when all tabs are closed. I really don't like this feature and I want to know if there is a way to fix this. It only does it on my S4 mini and not my galaxy tab 3 that is still on 4.1.2 I think.

Not really sure what's going on there but I would suggest removing chrome and re-installing it. on my LG Optimus G when it had 4.1.2, and 4.2 the new tab page remained. Now on my Nexus 5 with 4.4 and with Android L Dev build the tab page still remains. I'm going to assume its a bug. hopefully you can fix it.
