Need Help on choosing components

Hey Guys

 

My birthday is next week and i have a budget of around £500 i have already purchased a new heatsink and spent £60 i ahve 440 left...

what i need help with is a really highly recommened 1080p monitor for video editing, a Good Cherry mx blue Gaming keyboard with backlight, and a large Gamign mouse pad... preferrably somthing like a razer golithus alpha control edition... preferrably as cheap as chumps

Well, you sort have spent too much on the heat sink if it cost 60 euroes. With your budget it may be difficult to build a gaming system while buying high tier peripherals such as a mechanical keyboard.

Exactly this. If your budget was just 500 pounds then you probably should have went with a $20 cooler or maybe even cheaper. Even so, that would build you a very barebones PC with very basic peripherals.

 

 

A 1080p monitor would cost around $100-200

A good mech keyboard w/ backlight will cost $100-200

 

All that is left would be around nothing for the actual PC.

I think OP already has the computer, and just needs some peripherals.

 

I'd say go IPS either Dell u23xx/24xx series or hp zr24w

for the mousepad I use car vinyl wrap.

has the best tracking I've used and is dirt cheap($8 for enough vinyl for 3 huge mousepads)

Assuming $250 for a decent monitor you will have $190 left for peripherals.

I'd recommend a Ducky Shine 2 and a Steelseries QCK

Thanks guys... Btw the way for people who think I spent too much on a cooler... I already had a 1000 pound system so I'm fine by that point,

I have never seen or tried a ducky keyboard but I know they are extremely difficult to find in the uk

I like the features in all of these but I don't know if they are worth the money... I am going to look at monitors at pc world uk tomorrow but do not plan to buy from there...

Btw I need cherry mx blues and a good backlight because I game early into the morning
