Im assuming you can go $30 over your budget for a great headset

Sorry those are overpriced to hell.

OP there are a lot of headphones that are great at that price. To narrow it down, do you want closed or open headphones and do you want neutral sounding or v curved or bass heavy?

open with a neutral sound

The simplest way is to plug the headphones you get into the ps4 controller with an adapter that changes 3 pole to 4 pole. But to do so, you're going to need headphones that are easy to drive so my recommendation would be AKG K612 and a modmic. You will have to use one of these adapters then plug it into your controller. The same headphone and mic can be used on phones and pc too but since they are open, you will hear people when you're outside.

You cant even go $30 over your budget? :( Also, they are not overpriced, they are expensive. There IS a difference.

No they are overpriced for what they are. They sound like $100 headphones with a $300 price tag. That's overpriced.
