Basically wondering peoples thoughts on this to influence my choice.

CPU: i5 4430 PSU: XFX 550w Ram: 8gb Patriot Viper 1600mhz


Motherboard: MSI H87M-G43 Case: Fractal Design Define R4


SSD: 840 Evo 250gb, 512gb MX100 GPU: MSI GTX 980TI Gaming Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo

It really depends on what your looking for. Personally, I would go for one larger 27 inch monitor. I don't like the amount of bezel that would be between two 21.5 inch monitors, and I think it kind of ruins the experience. 

I was planning on only using one at a time, but I was leaning more towards the 27" but was hesitant because of the price jump.

Yeah, then it could be helpful for the larger screen real estate. However, for the same price of two decent ips 1080p monitors, you could probably get an amazing 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor. 

Yeah I think it was slightly more for 2 decent IPS 21.5 than a 27" 1080p but haven't looked into 2560x1440
