nope, quad cores that aren't apu's on amd aren't worth it

So far in an amd gaming rig I only saw FX's and X4 processors. Does AMD offer other good CPU's? Specifically FM2/FM2+ Mobos

Note : APU's not included

CPU: i5 4670k i won the silicon lottery Cooler: Corsair H100i w/ 2x Corsair SP120 quiet editions Mobo: ASUS Z97 SABERTOOTH MARK 1 Ram: Corsair Platnums 16gb (4x4gb) Storage: Samsun 840 evo 256gb and random hard drives GPU: EVGA acx 2.0 gtx 980 PSU: Corsair RM 850w Case: Fractal Arc Midi R2 windowed

What about an APU then? Specially amd's ace A10-7850k (please correct me)

Note: not using the APU's Integrated GPU

definitely for budget builds amd is the leading and only people in the apu grounds but if your budget allows it your better off getting a 750ti or r9 265

Get an x4 750k or 760k. The 760k is a richland apu without an igpu.
