TB PX22 Windows 8 setup

I setup my px22 headphones but when I configure sounds it does not have the same as the tutorial from TB.Also it seems to static some of the time but it is noticeable. It says px22 speakers as my playback device on the guide it say to do something else which I do not have available to me. The link to the tutorial I'm pretty sure its for windows 7.

The setup should be the same. Just plug it in and set as default device. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
