Iv been having some stupidly low upload and download speeds lately with the modem cutting me off entirely at times. It honestly could be that im in an apartment with people routing wires next to the building im in(construction), the cable routing in the building itself, or the brand new modem i bought to fix these very problems. The speeds will go from 1mb down to 7 in about half an hour. All help is appreciated.

I hate to give you bad news but there is NOTHING you can do about it as it's a problem with the firmware or hardware and Linksys (now owned by Belkin) doesn't care to fix it. I owned two EA6400 (one being a replacement) as well as the EA6300 (rebadged EA6400, 100% same hardware) and they all had the problem of throttling random wireless devices at random times so I'd try to return it.

If you can't return it and have to deal with it you can try disconnecting the device being throttled and clear it from the device list on the router CP then reboot it and reconnect the device and it "should" work but it's a pain in the ass to do on a daily basis.
