FX-6300 Vdrop Issues

Go to solution Solved by NumbingCrayon,

After further testing I found out it is only Prime 95 that drops my voltages to 0.8 volts. :)

I overclocked my FX-6300 to 4.5ghz from 4.3ghz. I have enabled CPU Load Line Calibration but I am still getting voltage drops of around 0.6 volts.  Should I set the LLC higher than 2.56v? Everything else is stable. Ran Prime 95 for half an hour, no problems. Just voltage drops. Temps stay at around 50 degrees celsius under load. I turned of apm, turbo core, c6 and all that other stuff.

Set Application Power Management to Disabled.

VDDA is not Load Line Calibration.

Go to where it says CPU LLC and set to Very High. If it's an AsRock board you may need to set it to 0%. They term their LLC reverse then other board manufacturers.

LLC is either disabled or enabled, and at the time of that picture APM was on auto but I have had it on disable. I am aware that VDDA isn't LLC but when I enable or disable LLC it doesn't help.

With it Enabled then it is just a board limitation.

A better board with proper LLC settings would be the way to fix the Vdroop issues.
