hwmonitor+coretemp only displaying one CPU core?

There may only be one temp sensor in the chip. I think it's the same with my phenom, as well.

That is the CPU package and also you only have trial mode so I doubt it'll give you core temperatures

So how can I get the actual core temps? And are there any other programs to show it?

 

Well you could try the normal HWMonitor

Okay, I installed normal HWMONITOR, it still shows the same..

 

There are a few pictures online showing the same so I think it is just AMD being a bit shit, I wouldn't worry about it mate.

Well, I'm trying to RMA my GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 REV 3.0 and people said I should RMA it for coretemp, but I cant see coretemp, only the CPU temp, which I assume is okay too, but I want them to RMA my board and send me a rev 4.0 so I don't get bad temps and horrible performance with throttling
