Hey everyone, I'm totally stumped and cant figure out how to fix this.

I'm on my 3rd windows install, every time I reinstall programs, use my computer for a while then after I restart it a few times, i'm missing programs. Like today, I turned it on and chrome, teamviewer, league of legends and a few others were just compeletly gone. I can't figure out why its happening nor can I find a cause. I've even tried a full wipe of everything including my storage drive, but it still happens.

I boot off a ssd so I honestly have to idea what to do.

any ideas?

Are they completely uninstalled, or just the icons are missing? Have you downloaded anything that may have contained a virus causing the problem? Check your installed programs and uninstall anything suspicious. Use avast or malwarebytes to scan PC.

It sounds like your installing a infected program every time you reinstall or that the virus is on your storage drive, that is of course if that's the problem and not something else.

there's no way a virus could still be on it after formatting, i've run a bunch of different virus scanning engines with no results. x.x

I've had a virus that snuck through formatting somehow and I ended up replacing the hard drive to get rid of the dam thing.
