E3......Why did it start early?

From what I understood it was supposed to start on the 10th and end on the 12th and yet Microsoft and EA have already had their pre-conferences and Microsoft has already had their conference.

So what gives, the dates haven't changes it still says June 10th - June 12th......and yet 2 of the 4 or 5 main press conferences have already taken place or are taking place.

That's... not how E3 works.

It always starts with the major conferences, then 3 days of show-room floor stuff. At least from how I understand it to work anyway.

I've been watching it for the past 5-6 years lol, and unless I'm mistaken it's always had day 0, where they just talk about anticipated titles,day 1 and day 2, where conferences take place , and then the roaming.

Speaking of E3, what I wanted from EA was Mirrors edge 2. I already anticipated that BF Hardline would be a Battlefield CTF style + have a PayDay aspect to it, and it looked like it was exactly that, it even had the "Enforcer" class. (I am not happy with BF Hardline)
