thinking of upgrading my cpu

currently using r5 3500 and gpu is 9060xt 16gb.

 

mainly for gaming

 

3options:

7500f for $160

7600x/7600 for $215

9600x for $230

(im also buying am5 mobo)

which one i should go for?

I don't upgrade to next gen frequently.

None of those are compatible with an am4 socket board or ddr4. You could upgrade to a ryzen 5000 series though.

 

For your budget range I’d go for a 5600 or 5700x.

There's only a $70 difference, which is peanuts compared to RAM prices, so if you plan  to keep it for several years get the 9600X

About RAM tho you should really avoid only 1 stick with AMD, rather go with 2x8GB
