Hi! I’m trying to troubleshoot a big FPS drop in CS2. I’ve already completely removed and reinstalled the drivers, and I’ve also verified the game files.

What else could I try?

I don’t have this issue in other games like ARC Raiders.

Sometimes it also feels like my PC gets FPS drops even just while browsing the web, especially noticeable when scrolling down.

Verify your RAM is running in dual channel mode (you do have 2x16?), verify XMP/EXPO is enabled. Install Intel PresentMon, enable GPU and CPU metrics. Share screenshots of the GPU Busy and CPU Busy graphs after a drop. Also have a look at temps.

What settings are you using for the game, what FPS do you get on average?

Update to the latest BIOS just in case. Also, try different Windows Power Settings(Full/Balanced). And reinstall CS2.
