----------------------------------

Ubiquiti EdgeRouterX for internet and routing

TP-Link 8 port POE switch

2x Ubiquiti u6+ access points

It's handy to switch the monitor,  keyboard/mouse and headset separately rather than use a KVM (e.g. I can play Satisfactory while working and switch the keyboard/mouse back when I need to quickly do something at work).

I work in IT and do a lot of coding, specialising in software installation automation. I find it useful to have 3 monitors - 1 for coding, 1 for windows explorer and the other to watch testing runs on virtual machines. I remote into a work machine where all my work is done so the 2nd PC doesn't need to do much other than display the output of the remote PC. When I'm doing test runs they take some time so I game whilst that's happening, hence the HDMI switch and USB switches.

I built my gaming PC back in 2022 and it's still serving me very well. I mainly play PUBG and Satisfactory. The 2nd PC was put together with 2nd hand parts during COVID in 2019 to replace an aging i7 860 machine.

@the_helper417 - the gaming PC has 120mm Lian Li Unifan V2 fans. I use FanControl to control their speeds based on a mix of CPU and GPU temps. The other PC has EZDiy 120mm fans that I bought off Amazon. The EZDiy fans are awesome for their price. But they can't be controlled by software. They use a proprietary hub and a remote control.
