Do male and female Mini USB connectors have any kind of protection to prevent damage when something bumps into the male connector, applying pressure and force to the opposite side, or does any bump cause internal damage to the solder joints? This applies to the male connector on cables and the female connector on devices. is more fragile cable and connector?
