Budget (including currency): 2k-2.2k AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Scrap Mechanic, Sims 2-4, Elegoo Slicer (3D printing software), Roblox, OBS & Vtuber stuff

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

All I really need is a new graphics card and cpu, maybe ram and motherboard if i can fit in there but everything else should be

My current pc specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core 4.5ghz

16gb corsair vengence pro rgb

Geforce GTX 1660 TI 6gb

MSI MPG Sekira 500g (Please give me a new case I FRICKING HATE IT)

Asus rog strix b550e motherboard

Corsair rm750x

Im fine with keeping the power supply and my storage is fine, I'll keep the motherboard if i have to but if I can get a bunch of new parts for my pc then i would go with it. lol rgb if possible not a need. My pc is mostly black but if white is alright price thatll be okay. (I really have no clue unfortunately)

Thanks all

you will get the biggest and most noticeable performance boost by replacing your graphics card
next step would be to add additional 16gb of memory
(do you now have 2x8gb or 1x16gb configuration ? also what are your memory specs - speed and timing/latency)

unfortunatelly replacing your motherboard will not give you any benefits -
you would need one of the DDR5 based platforms for any meaningful performance boost
good news is that your current platform still allows you to boost your cpu performnace by swapping your cpu for 5700x3d or 5800xt
(5700x will also improve your 0,1 and 1% fps lows in multiplayer titles)
although cpu is the last thing i would be worried about since 3700x is still a decent chip .

This looks great!!

Although, what can i do with the rest of my budget? What can be improved with the budget? Like possibly better cpu or graphics card ? If thats the best I can afford then thats great! Like I'll do up to 1.5-18k

I have 2 8gb sticks and it says in about my pc speed: 2133mhz

you probably didn´t set your memory profile in the bios - you need to do that -
because 2133MHz is hurting your gaming performance a lot with a ryzen 3700x cpu
search for XMP or DOCP settings in your motherboards bios within memory settings .

i couldnt find anything in my bios related to that at all

UPDATE: It give me a warning about gen 4.0 devices and overvolting when i switched it to DOCP, but I saved it and am letting my computer restart

usually this does not happen with preset profiles .
(more so when you start manually adjusting speed and timings on your own)
but it is possible your motherboard does not work well with this specific kit .
do you see any other preset options for memory in the bios or just something like "profile 1" and that´s it ?

im not sure what happened tbh, a lot of the time i leave my computer in sleep mode, when i got up the next morning and pressed spacebar to wake it up it wouldnt light up at all and when i restarted my computer there was an orange light on my motherboard, then i had to like open my case and short 2 pins together to reset the bios

restore your bios to default settings and start with just adjusting the ram speeds (ram profile) and nothing else
