So i just purchased a new rx 9060xt 16gb variant and i keep getting random screen glitches,i think they are called artifacts,and i dont know if i should worry and return the gpu or is it just a driver issue?
I posted a yt video since the video is too large:


My specs are:
i5 12400
16gb ram 3200mhz
500w psu,idk the brand
rx 9060xt 16gb xfx brand

That doesn't look right at all.

What GPU did you upgrade from? Did you do a DDU to do a fresh install of drivers?

Please look inside your PC to see what exact power supply you have.

I did use DDU,i had an rtx 2060 before,the psu is from a prebuild hp omen pc.

Did you do it in safe mode with all the recommended stuff? I saw someone having issues recently where they had run DDU just didn't do it in safe + recommended steps and had issues due to that

I did not do it in safe mode,the videos i watched said i should do it in safe mode but it is NOT necessary,do you think i should redo it in safe mode?

Yes I'd re-do it in safe mode since you're actually facing issues here. While you're there you may as well remove all the installed drivers and re-install adrenaline ( once you're out of safe mode ) when you're done

 

🤞Here's to hoping its a software issue and some corrupt driver installations, if the issue persists then we can start looking at other stuff
