my laptop(dell vostro 3490) keeps freezing

the problem I face is when using the laptop it suddenly stops working. it freezes.

I ran Dell pre-boot diagnostics system which shows no hardware level problem. when i boot in safe mood it doesn't freeze

after much tinkering I am certain it is the Intel UHD graphics drivers. But the problem is even if i install the latest driver or the one provided by dell or and older version it keeps freezing what can I do??

currently using Microsoft basic display adapter

I use above mentioned laptop. the spec:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz (2.30 GHz)

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.85 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

it is running Windows 11 Pro for Workstations(version 25H2)

also it has a 1 Tb HDD for storage

Plz feel free to ask more info if u deem necessary. I really need my laptop to work

Thanks in advance

Just a dumb idea. If you run DDU and then reinstall Intel drivers, maybe it will fix some corrupted files ?

You can also use CrystalDiskInfo to check if your SSD is in good health.

P.S., if you don't have a backup of your important files, NOW is the time to do one.

is it random, or is it more likely to freeze when doing specific things or using specific programs?

When did this start occurring? What makes you think it is the graphics driver and not something else? When does it exactly freeze? Have you checked the Event Viewer?

PLEASE MARK COMMENTS AS SOLUTION IF SATISFIED!!

bigger number better, makes me look cooler.
