Thick radiator question

Go to solution Solved by Samoyed,

I ultimately went with a NZXT H9 Flow RGB (2025) – Large Dual-Chamber ATX Mid-Tower Airflow PC Case

I'm planning a new build and I want to use the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro AIO mounted in the top of the case.

I see it has a thicker radiator - 38 mm and needs about 63 mm total space for the radiaor and fans.

Does anyone know if this extra space requirement causes a problem on certain cases?

I'v seen it be a problem in certain cases with certain motherboards with very thick VRM Heatsinks for example.

Its rare but it does happen.

Or in the front of a case where the extra thickness doesn't allow for the bottom fan to be used as it would hit the case due to a smaller cutout on the bottom.

Why don't you tell us the case you are thinking about and your motherboard and we'll double check 🙂

Its usually not an issue and its only a handful of times I have seen this be mentioned as a problem.
