It depends on what you using the PC for.

If you are gaming, a new AM5 CPU would be a welcome addition to this build.

I only play older games at times but mostly use my pc for web browsing or work. Should I upgrade the ram to 32?

Do you need 32GB?  Are you using near your current limit?

"Work" is very vague, what kind of work?

Not for older games though.  I mean he should obviously throw this machine away and build a new one, but for his use case... I wager he's got a FOMO thing going on more than needing an upgrade.

no, but I can't play newer games like I would like to. Should I just build a brand new pc instead of making upgrades?

No, you can upgrade this one.  When you said you play older games, you didn't say you want to play new ones. Now we know your goal for this upgrade.

How much money ya got?  What resolution?

You posted this in the wrong place actually.  There is a New Builds and Planning forum with a Template to fill out for these things so you front load all the important info 🙂

We need region/country as well.

Also, it may be we replace almost all the machine but the drives and case and peripherals 🙂

Which games do you want to play? What problems do you have?

Your PC should be more than good enough for everything, except maybe for the latest AAA games from the last 2-3 years.
