Hello,

I acquired an Asus dual-3050 at a reasonable price, knowing it would be faulty in some way but I hoped I could fix it or at least see an obvious fault. I could not. It seems like a driver fault to me but I have updated them multiple times and had no luck. I don't really know what else to try. There may be some damage to a few components (look at photos) so maybe I'll try giving the whole thing a clean with isopropanol at some point.

Any help, tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated though!

Welcome to the forums!
Driver issues would not cause those weird lines . I think that's dying memory but I'm not GPU expert. You could try using NVflash to reflash the vBIOS but that's unlikely to actually fix the issue
How much did you pay for it?

Hi. Didn't pay much, but enough that it would annoy me if I can't get it working. Yeah I agree it seems to be more than bios but why isn't it showing up in afterburner or gputweak. That's what's really throwing me off. I'll try reflashing it and see how that goes. Thanks

Big advice: never spend more on broken hardware than you can afford to light on fire

more than just *drivers*
Again, very low chance that reflashing vBIOS (different from BIOS, read the whole set of instructions for NV flash) will fix it.

Because it's so busted that those programs can't even recognize it as a GPU
