Secure boot troubleshooting

Go to solution Solved by FireWolfLMC,

Turns out restoring to factory defaults allowed me to enable it. I appreciate the attempt to help though!

Very original problem, I know, but I’ve been trying to get it to work and haven’t found any solution. I have the correct partitions (GPT). I don’t have legacy BIOS, I have UEFI. TPM is on. System Information says that secure boot is off, not unsupported. My guess is that it might have something to do with the “select a UEFI file as trusted for execution,” but I can’t click on it to bring up a sub menu, so I am not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated.IMG_9307.thumb.jpeg.218b52b350e996f4bdd2d32818afbebf.jpegIMG_9308.thumb.jpeg.1fc63aaefbc57e044696eb359e0ea9be.jpeg

"Secure" boot was designed to prevent a user from installing Linux on their computer and has no other useful function, regardless of what Microsoft claims.

And it took Linux developers less than a month to bypass it.

I’m not super tech savvy, I really just want to play some BF6 with my brother who’s out of state. And unfortunately, it requires secure boot to be on to play.

In your 1st photo, where it says, "Secure Boot" Click on "Disabled" and in the listing that pops up choose "Enabled".

Then just allow for the system to continue booting.

And I forgot to mention that for some unknown reason some developers require it to be on, even though it has no effect on the game itself.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t pop anything up. I can only click on the “erase” and “restore factory settings” ones. Everything else either just doesn’t have a sub menu, or doesn’t let me click it in the first place. I’m thinking I might update BIOS and see if that changes anything.
