Looking towards upgrading my 3060 Ti within the next year, just wondering if i should upgrade now or wait for Nvidia or AMD to drop the next one? I really don't need it, just looking for a possible upgrade solution, but my B450 board is kinda holding me back right now, but I really am kinda too lazy to disassemble and get a new motherboard lol

Anything helps, you can even roast me for being so lazy that I won't upgrade a near 5 year old motherboard because I don't want to

how are you doing today

i think the best upgrade you can get would be a 5070 16gb, if you sell your current 3060ti MAYBE you can get it otherwise a 40 series is probably the better option

The new generation recently just came out, I'd say sit comfy for another year or two before next full release, maybe a refresh of some card in that time but no new "drop" as such.

When you want to upgrade, then look.  Within the next year is so vague in tech terms as to be someday in the infinite future.

If you have a Microcenter near you, watch their pricing and Hot Deals as well.
