I have audio technica headphones plugged into the front NZXT H5 case jack, as well as some speakers plugged into the LINE IN 3.5 mm jack on the back mobo, I've checked the connections and sound settings. They bleed into eachother when i have it set to headphones or speaker, it muffles and cracks it and the one im not using picks up audio. is this a case issue? individually they work fine....

You mean you have your speakers connected to the LINE OUT (lime green) port right?
Because the PC sends out audio for speakers to output.

The same the headphone port is called a headphone output.
