Lumion sofware only using 2 cores.

I am currently troubleshooting a strange issue with a couple of pcs. The specs are z390 asrock and msi boards, i7 9700k and 2080s. Also 32 gb ddr4 3600 ram The issue os that lumion softwere is only using two of eight cores and that botlenecks the gpu. At max it is only at 70-80% usage Rendering is painfully slow with even the easy to run scenes taking hours to render. I dont know why this is happening. Has anyone had a similiar issue. Is it just simply how lumion works and i should just get a better cpu? How can i optimize it. I tried reinstalling windows, updating drivers, reinstalling lumion, updating the bios, various oc options, different gpus, ssds. If possible i would like to keep the current system due to financial reasons.

Lumion is a single threaded software. This is one of those instances where upgrading CPU actually matters quite a bit
