Hey,

I built a new pc for myself in late February. After about a month i got these random blackscreens maybe once per week. But now they have gotten more frequent. Yesterday I got 3 within the span of a few hours. They are not BSODs, they are literal blackscreens. My screen does not turn off or whatever it just displays black and locks me out of the computer. They happen randomly thus I don't think it has anything to do with 1 specific program. I fear that it might be a ram issue. Also it hasn't happened when playing any game, yet. Could it be some kind of power issue? I have not overclocked anything. Thanks for all answers in advance!

Latest Bios? Latest AMD chipset drivers? Latest AMD GPU drivers? Windows updated? Why not Win11 (it is better at handling newer hardware than win10)?

Tried re-seating the RAM, cooler, GPU? Latest firmware on the SSD-s?

Open Event Viewer. Scroll down to the timestamp around the last time it happened and you should see a Kernel-Power event with the event ID 41. Select this and in the bottom half where it displays information about the event, click the Details tab. Copy paste the information from this.

It doesn't even detect that you use the power button to turn it off so it's completely frozen, it's not just a signal loss. Unfortunately, that could be anything. I've even seen something as stupid as a faulty fan cause stuff like this.

Could it possibly be because of power issues? I currently reside in a dorm, where I am not really sure if the power coming out is that stable. Also i only have 1 power outlet (ludicrous ik) and between the pc and the wall are 2 power strips. One issue I see with this theory is that, the pc does not lock up on heavy load but the opposite actually.
