Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

My current build is basiccly a modified version of this budget editing rig from LTT five years ago.

I have a ryzen 5 3600x with an GTX 1080, 32gb of 3200 ddr 4 in a fractal desin mid tower. B450 mATX board and a 650 80+gold evga semi modular power supply I have three monitors 1-32in 4k 60hz and 2-22in 1080p 75hz. For storage i have a 500gb m.2 from HP for boot and programs, a 1 tb sata ssd samsung evo for games, and two 2tb segate drives.

I am going to be buying parts throughout the rest of the year. I did want to downsize my case to the Lian Li Q58 or a similar itx sized case. The way I have my home office setup it will help with my pc having a smaller physical footprint.

For the storage I would take the old bulk hdds and put them in enclosures for external drives or make my own NAS. I would likely want to go to a 1 or 2 tb m.2 and keep the evo for my games as long as I can.

I dont play on high settings, mainly 1080p medium at the highest, but the edititng and creative software is where I would probsbly need the power. I havent been to in the know on pc parts since 2019 or so. I do video editimg, light photo editing, some digital art both 2d and 3d.

I am also an avid writer so if I could upgrade my cheap qisan 68 keyboard (love the size of 68 keys) That would be awesome too. My mouse is nothing special. An alienware wired mouse I got for a good deal from like 2017 or so.

I was considering going completely intel with an i5 or i7 processer and arc as a my gpu because of the price but am still unsure if that would be the right call for editing and creative applications so any suggestions there would be awesome.
