PC Crashes When Using VR

Specs: i5-13600K, RTX 3080, Asus Prime Z790-V Mobo, 32GB DDR5 (2x16) Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Corsair HX850i, Corsair Nautilus RS 360 AIO, Lian Li O11 Vision, Windows 11 Pro, Bios Version 1805

 

As the title says, my PC keeps crashing while I’m on my VR headset and I can’t figure out the issue, also I can’t post a minidump file because my PC crashes so quickly that it doesn’t create one, also I have ran all kinds of tests on my hardware and it seems like there’s nothing wrong with it because it only crashes on VR, I checked event viewer and only found Critical: Kernel-Power and Error: “volmgr” during the event of the crash. I checked to make sure all drivers are up to date as well and yet I still have the same issue, I even tried running it with an older driver for my gpu and still had the same issue after a couple hours of use. The weird thing is it varies on how long it lasts before it crashes, I use HWINFO to check temps and nothing seems out of the ordinary so I don’t know how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You forgot to list your PSU in your specs. I think it has a high chance of being the culprit.

I did list my PSU, it’s the Corsair HX850i 80+ Platinum

Should be plenty of power to run your computer.

Did you check all cables and connectors ? There must be something causing these power losses.
