First time PC build

Go to solution Solved by Why_Me,

@Anstane both this board and gpu support PCIe 5.0 not to mention this board gives you plenty of PCIe lanes to run both of your SSD's. This build gives you a good chance of becoming the next Mindaugas of Monster Hunters.

Hello. I used to only buy pre-built PC's, but this time I figured I should try to get a PC built for overall better performance and budgetary reasons.

Budget (including currency): 2500-3000 Euros.

Country: Lithuania

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming purposes. Currently aiming for Monster Hunter: Wilds and the upcoming DOOM: The Dark Ages on decent graphics.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Currently do not have any parts, though some parts I am looking at and considering include:

Intel Core i7-14700K 3.4GHz Processor

Radeon RX9070 XT 16GB

Crucial P3 Plus 2TB SSD

32 GB RAM

One last thing: I would like it so I can take the 500GB SSD from my current PC and plug it into the new PC so as to keep most of the data without needing a transfer, if that is at all possible.

1. Budget & Location

2500-3000 Euros, Lithuania.

2. Aim

Gaming, primarily single-player or MMO's. Looking to occasionally stream on Discord to friends. Games include Starcraft 2, Monster Hunter: Wilds and DOOM: The Dark Ages.

3. Monitors

At present moment, 2 monitors. No current plans to upgrade to 3 or more. Current monitors have a recommended resolution of 1920x1080.

4. Peripherals

Am willing to get new monitors as long as they don't go too far over the budget listed. As for OS, Windows 11.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Current PC is unable to handle the most modern games (For example, MH:Wilds only gets on average 30FPS on the absolute lowest settings). Also, upgrade will be needed when Windows 10 stops being supported.

As I mentioned, I kind of have no real idea what I am doing, what is compatible and what else I would need. Your advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What is the speed and cl of your ram, what psu do you have/will you be reusing your old one, and what motherboard do you plan on getting.

For the RAM, I am not sure. I am considering the Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory.
PSU - I am planning on getting a new one. As for what sort, I admit I am not at all sure. For the most part, I've just been checking parts in PCPartPicker as I do not have any parts currently bought.
The same with the Motherboard. I am not sure what would be compatible with the parts I'd be getting. Just looking over the parts, an MSI B760 Gaming Plus DDR4 ATX LGA1700?

I would also likely need some advise/assistance in terms of fans/cooling/etc. Especially as I got a warning about the Processor not having a stock CPU cooler. Maybe I'll need a different processor, then...

Perfect, this looks great for my purposes! I am glad that the box itself also fits into the area dedicated for it for my desk. Thank you so much, I can get started on getting this built!
