And then itll be there permanently or are you going to constantly move it around? If latter is the case id consider trading for a desktop replacement. If its the former consider just shipping with expanding foam and crates.

 

If youre in that inbetween where you would move it around every 3 months or something like that, i would remove the GPU regardless for transport but here are some smaller case than NZXT H9 that supports all of your hardware.

so i will be moving for at least the summer but also i will be driving it across country if that changes anything

In that case downsize is actually kind of justified. Either way, i recommend thoroughly strapping down your GPU and CPU Cooler, or remove them during transport. Theyre the one most likely to break off during shipping and clank around the insides.
