I recently got an msi ventus 3x rtx 5070 ti. Everything is fine until i install its drivers, at which point my pc slows down terribly and is unusable. I already made sure everything is installed properly hardware wise. Im using a b660m ds3h ax motherboard, which only has pcie 4.0. Im mentioning this because this is realistically the only issue i could think of, apart from the entire gpu being literally defective, though i do know pcie has backwards compatibility so it cant really be that either. Anyone know what it could be? Has anyone else had simillar issues but maybe on another gpu?

I recently installed the Nvidia App and that lasted about 2 hours before I started getting continuous random game crashes without applying any of the driver features. Solved by uninstalling just the Nvidia App.

Did you install using the NVIDIA app and did you do a full clean install?

weird that it runs ok before the driver update,  try rolling back to the old driver and if it runs ok then may need be a driver issue with it being so new.

I wiped my drivers about 3 times with ddu and reinstalled the drivers and it kept doing it. Did it both with and without the nvidia app
