Hi,

I would like to build a new PC, probably in april 2025, when the RTX 5070 and the bequiet! Silent Loop 3 240mm released.

I picked an AIO because only low profile air coolers with poor cooling would fit inside the era 2.

Budget (including currency): About 2000 Euro / 2093 USD up to 2500 Euro / 2618 USD max.

 

Country: Germany

 

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Photo editing (radiant photo, topaz photo ai, gimp), light video editing / slideshow (aquasoft photo vision 2025), gaming (1440p up to 165 Hz, maybe later 4K 60+ Hz) games like DayZ, Age of Empires IV, ARK Survival Ascended

My current build (see profile or down below) will go to my wife. It works quite well for 1440p 60Hz.

My questions are:

What should I know before building my first ITX/SFF pc?

What should I know before building my first watercooled pc (AIO)?
Is there something to improve?
RTX 4070 Ti Super or RTX 5070 or AMD? (AMD has more VRAM for the money)?

There are very few high power SFF PSUs, so is the Corsair SF750 fine? (The PSU tier list is from 2021)
Am i stupid or does the Fractal Era 2 layout make the PSU exhaust air to the bottom against the case's bottom intake fan? Era-2-Manual-V1.0-May-16.pdf
