Hello guys I have a problem with my pc I did a lot of testing to find what cause the problem but until now I didn’t found anything. I did a test to all the ram by using memtest86, also I did a test to the cpu and the gpu by using Occt and nothing happened, but when I did a test for the power my pc restart immediately and I tried to do it again and it lasted only 9 minutes. I thought it was the power supply but I talk to my friend and I took his power it was 750G evga and run the test and everything is okey but when I run one of my game (the Callisto protocol) the same thing happened to me my pc crash and restarted. So I change the gpu with 2070 super from my friend pc and everything went smoothly and the game run well with out restarting even that I played a little bit and move for the place that usually cause the restart. I don’t know if it is my gpu because when I stressed nothing happened I’m thinking maybe because the difference of the voltage between the 6900xt and etc 2070 super. I don’t want to change the gpu and find that it’s not the problem. Another thing that is I checked the event viewer which indicates the event ID 41 and most of the event data are zero

My build

Cpu: Amd 9 5950x
Gpu Amd 6900xt
MB: B550 - XE
Ram: 32gb
2 m.2
2 Hdd
Power Supply : RM 850W

Have you DDU'd the nvidia driver yet?

Yes I did. And I did the SFC sacn, format my pc with all the files in my C drive and installed new driver, also my BIOS is up to date. tried the DISM image tools and there is no component corruption detected. I run the OCCT power test and Cinebench the temperature is between 68 and 70, at first I thought maybe the cpu temperature but even when I did a lot of tests the temperature seemed okay. I have NZXT X73 360. I run another test with msi kombuster and both OCCT, Cinebench all in the same time and nothing happened. So from what I understand stand right now is that when I boot the game and start to play the pc restart immediately. I really don’t know what to say and to do. Last thing is I deleted all my gpu drivers start the game without gpu driver and the same thing my pc restart itself.

Could you try DOWNclocking the 2070 with afterburner? Like a couple hundred mhz lower to see if that helps

As I said, I switch between them and when I did that the game didn’t restart my PC and even I just move from the place that used to crash and restart my PC so I don’t know if it’s the cause from my main GPU or because the difference it’s between the voltage between the both GPU or what

Latest Update!!!!

After few tests I thought maybe the GPU was the problem, so I remove my GPU from my pc and tried it with my friend build. His build was (CPU Amd 7 3700X Ram 16 gb.) I run the game and the pc restarted the same thing that happened with my build so in the end I think the GPU is the problem. If anyone one why the GPU causing this please help me. Does the
GPU malefaction? Do I  need to change it ? Or is there anything that can fix it?

My Build

CPU: Amd 9 5950x

GPU: 6900XT

Motherboard: ASUS B550-XE

Ram: 32gb 18 3600mhz

Cooling: NZXT 73X 360M

M.2: MP600 Gen 4

Second M.2: 1tb crucial P5

Two HDD

Power supply: RM 850

If I can’t fix my GPU and that’s really hurting so much …… any suggestion what GPU should I buy ?

This is why I qant you to downclock the gpu severely to see if its simply just a bit unstable at its max clocks. Some cards have this happen and by simply slowing them down a bit they start working fine again

I will try it. The sad thing is that many people with AMD cards experience the same issue, and despite trying everything, they haven’t found a solution. I even saved my BIOS and changed it, but it still didn't fix the problem. After that, I reverted to the original.
