I was looking at XReal's website and they're now advertising a "spatial computing device"; it appears to be a companion to XReal glasses. (https://www.xreal.com/us/beam/) The commercial is fine, even if the voiceover sounds weird (AI?) and at one point they show an actor playing Cyberpunk 2077 on a Switch (?). Any thoughts on its legitimacy and how it may compare/compete with the Apple Vision Pro?

Not. Its a ENTIRELY different usecase device.

Xreal is for all intents and purposes a portable glasses screen.

The vision pro is a set of standalone ar/vr(light vr) glasses.

The beam is just an adapter to make it work properly with consoles thats it
