Budget (including currency): Have a 750W Modular PSU and all the components needed. just looking to see if upgrading makes sense so budget is not necessarily a thing, however, not sure I want to spend a GPU price on a 7800x3D

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: All  games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am looking to upgrade to a 5070 or 5070 Ti with the claims of 4090 performance for the price. Having the upgraded GPU I would assume I would bottleneck with my current specs and I should upgrade to the next-gen DDR5 and CPU to match. I would love to get a 7800X3D but here in Canada, they are the same price as a GPU. Would pairing with an AMD or Intel and which CPU would be better? I have also heard for DDR5 that the 6000mhz speed is the sweet spot. Any suggestions or information would be great!

Any AM5 cpu regardless of price should keep up with the 5070/ti on around 1440p and up so even a 7500f/7600 which should be significantly cheaper would work, or a 7600X3D is an option too if you want the best of both worlds

5070 Ti with r7-7800x3d ($639.99 CAD) and 32GB 6000mhz on a 750W PSU?

vs

5070 Ti with i7-14700 ($469.99 CAD) and 32GB 6000mhz on a 750W PSU?

or

5070 Ti with R7-7700 ($439.99 CAD) and 32GB 6000mhz on a 750W PSU?

vs

5070 Ti with i5-14600KF ($299.99 CAD) and 32GB 6000mhz on a 750W PSU?

Am I going to notice a huge difference between the CPU's based on the cost gaming?

Realistically I've stuck to i7/r7 in the past... but with the newer tech and the price on the 14600KF it seems like it would be great?
Currently run 1440p and a lot of my gaming time is escape from tarkov, I would be doing this upgrade as I can sell my previous parts and make a small investment to future-proof a bit more. In the future I may get a 4K display and switch to 4K.

(Also 7600x3d not sure if its available in Canada)

Newegg: 279.99 Currently for the 7600 CPU

The 14600K seems by far the best price-performance there then, with the 7600 close behind, though with the 7600 you buy into the start of a platform that will last years and the 14600K is buying straight into a dead platform, so theres ups and downs to both

What do you have atm ?
The "5070 equals 4090" claim is utter bs, they use the new DLSS4 FrameGen to bridge the gap ! say the 4090 had 60FPS x2, now with 30FPS x4 they say it's as good !!
