Hey guys,

I recently purchased an Asus UX302LA (refurbished), with a backlit keyboard (That's gonna be important soon)

Upon receiving it i created recovery media on a USB drive. To do this though, I had to go into what a Microsoft employee called a "Clean boot" in which he instructed me to disable all the non-Microsoft apps on the machine through the task manager. After this creating my recovery drive worked, but I have henceforth not had a working backlight on my keyboard. It does flash briefly when the laptop is powering up, so i know the LEDs aren't dead, but i can't find a solution anywhere. I've tried using the backlight on/off hotkeys but they also do nothing.

Do any of you guys know what might be wrong?

Also, apologies if this is the wrong subforum.

What keyboard is it? Is there software that you can download for it from their website? BTW, this would go better in Troubleshooting.

PS: I've never seen you here so hi!

The built in keyboard, the UX302LA is an ultrabook, sorry if that wasn't clear

P.S. Hi, I've never posted in these parts
