Cpu Bottleneck?

My cpu is an amd a6-3500

Am I bottlenecking???

I'm sorry but a triple core @2.1GHz is a HUGE bottleneck. You can either OC and I heard some of those can be unlocked to 4 cores but do this at your own risk. Some unlock fine, some fail.

Yes, upgrade to a Quad core or switch to Intel altogether.

My i5 750 is bottlenecking my GTX 660. I suggest you upgrade to something better, like an i3 or FX 4300 / FX 6300.

Uh... FM1... you'll need a new mb for a sure upgrade...

something like socket 1150 and a i3 4130 or AM3+ and FX 6300 or FM2 and Athlon II X4 750K/760K

 

 

 Unlocking depends on his mb/chipset

what if I get an AMD Athlon ll X4 651 Quad-Core Processor 3.0 GHz Socket FM1???
