Yea it's a Thunderbolt 2 cable connected to a dock.

that's the longest spare TB2 cable I have from work (we don't need it anymore)

If I'm using my work laptop, I shift so that it'd be my DualUp+laptop

Hey,

with my upcoming upgrade coming early 2025 (other topic / waiting for CES) and after years of single monitor 24", i want to go back to 2 monitors and upgrading my good old samsung syncmaster P2370 from 15 years ago to

Asus ROG Strix XG27AQDMG.

From the picture 003 attached, you can see my current configuration in a corner with one monitor on one arm. My PC is below the table and a drilled circled hole is used in the corner to feed all cables and hold the armstand (picture 002 shows the hole).

I placed my 2 monitors I already have to see how it would feel and being in the corner and I have multiple issues :

- my main one is that I don't have a lot of depth, that's why i'm in the corner.

- my speakers are taking a lot of space but need them when i'm alone to not spend 100% of the time with headset ! I don't really mind having them behind the monitors but that gets the monitor really close to me.

- it's in the bedroom, and I need to keep it as minimalistic as possible. Hence I want both monitor with desk mount. If possible with a singular mount. Do you think it's possible ?

I made a first magnificant drawing attached. But It feels really bad because as the main monitor is fully in the diagonal (like on current setup with 1 monitor) and i placed the speaker behind, they feel so close to me, and i need to turn my head A LOT to watch 2nd screen and it's really bad. If I place them next to each other I don't know where to put the speakers...

I feel like I will have to have them one on top of the other, but if you have other idea please do !

Thank you !

I have my 1440p ultrawide & LG Dual Up on a single triple monitor mount (needed the length).

I'll take a picture of it's back when I get home, but yours is similar to mine.

And I use a soundbar for my setup.

Thank you for the picture ! That poor white cable is holding !

I guess i'll borrow one double monitor mount from work and I should be able to make it work similarly.

Thank you for that last screenshot, that helps a lot ! It's exactly what my original drawing looks like but symetrical.

I feel you with the mousepad going slightly over the edge in the corner !

I bought this corner desk connector/adapter.  My desks are essentially 2 different desks that are shaped into an L.

And that extra space in the back for the ultrawide's arm thing is just so that it'd be easier for me to mount + to be able to use more table space since I lose a lot of the left side of my primary desk if it's closer to the wall.
