Hi All

Hoping for a little advice! Ive currently got a founders edition RTX 2080ti and it’s beginning to show its age on a number of titles. What would be the best option for an upgrade? Open to AMD or Nvidia, just looking for best bang for buck!

As @jaslion said, a bit more info would be helpful, especially what titles you feel the 2080ti is struggling with. I have a 2080ti, 3080ti and a 4090 and love a AAA title so have probably ran it or tried to run it on all of my systems.

Personally, I'm an Nvidia man through and through. Yes, you pay a high rate of Nvidia Tax but their feature set is a generation ahead of AMD and has been since the 20 series cards released.

Without a little more info, I would say the 4070ti Super is probably the one I would go for. I was actually thinking of getting one of those to replace my 3080ti. At the time I was really just looking to get something that was easier to cool rather than a significant bump to performance (my 3080ti is an crazy furnace even on water) but I eventually decided to go in balls deep and get a 4090.

Do note that Nvidia, AMD and Intel are all releasing new cards in Q1 of next year so waiting to see what's what is what I would do. Nvidia will likely release their top tier cards first with the mid range and lower end cards coming in late Q1 or early Q2. AMD on the other hand have admitted they aren't going to bother competing at the high end so it will be interesting to see what their new cards have to offer.

What is your budget? You can get either 4070Super(~630$) or 4080Super(1200$+). Or wait for the next-gen, when they will presumably get cheaper.
