I have a cheap Redragon keyboard and when gaming (RDR2 etc) if I push shift to sprint it will toggle sprint until i stop it or if I push Ctrl to stop it will stay stopped until i push Ctrl again

Pretty sure It never used to do this so im not sure if its a software or hardware problem

Any suggestions?

I would say your English is like 99% good here, The only "issue" is it's called "sticky keys" but we all know what you mean

I agree, it is either sticky keys or game settings, rather than being the keyboard, at least that would be my guess

Thx for correcting me. I had an issue with my keyboard some time ago (CTRL button was always on) but the solution was new cable, old one was broken

God, I had forgotten about that crap.  Used to be very annoying in Windows 7, like in the middle of gaming you get

a window pop up about sticky keys...luckily haven't seen it in windows 11.

I do keep getting on startup: would you like to finish setting up windows now?

Still looking for the "Piss Off" option on that...
