Hey,

Well the title is pretty self explanatory, but to give more context, I've been using a ATH-M50x with a V-MODA Boom Pro mic for the past couple years. When moving to Canada I decided to buy an actual microphone and get rid of the modmic (it was dying, but had been quite useful, I don't know I would recommand the experience but it's been interesting).

Now that I have this big microphone and that my headphones are plugged 24/7 on my desktop pc, I'm looking for an alternative to go around on my laptop and on my phone.

With black friday sales around, I'm wondering about going for earbuds. I'm still using the headphones most of the time but I miss having some sound around when I'm walking, in the public transports or at the gym.

i've always had a terrible experience with in-ears, especially keeping them comfortably in, but I haven't had anything like this in a decade, and I'm willing to give it another shot (especially considering that anything worth 10/20$ a decade ago would never have been a good quality).

I don't know how the ecosystem work but I don't want something that only works if you have the app on your phone. I'm fine with downloading something for settings or upgrades but I'll be using it on the laptop which will 100% not have the compatible app.

My main issue being that there is too much choice and I can't seem to find something good with my constraints, those being:
- Support for two sources (if it exists), as I have a laptop (running Arch btw) and a phone (running Lineage, but I have access to GApps if necessary) to connect

- Microphone(I expect to use them for calls on both devices)
- Buttons (no "Amazing AI Feature" with voice controling) for source switching and/or volume control
- Earhook would be nice for sports (but I can do without it)
- Under 150 CAD (110 USD), but I can go up to 200 CAD if it seem worth it

I don't have that much constraints in term of sound quality, I've always had terrible audio, so as long as it is not buggy or especially bad I don't really mind having a slightly worse audio for a more comfortable experience.

I've already taken a look around:
- the skullcandy ones all seem to have replaced their buttons with their Skull-IQ feature.
- I've seen some Monster ones with insane deals (like 75% off, which make me wonder if they pumped up the price to dump it for the sales, or if it's actually worth something)
- JLab has some good deals right now
- JBL Vibe flex seem decent (but for some reason they decided to price everything at 50$ on amazon, regardless of the original price)
- JBL SoundGear Sense seem interesting, I like the design
- etc...

I've seen the old ltt review from 5 years ago, and I'm currently going left and right to look for reviews and advices. While I'm looking around I thought about trying my chances here.
Thanks for the answers o/ (And sorry for the huge mess)

I have had great luck with the soundcore liberty 3 pros and liberty 4. I bought my wife a couple as well for work and around the house/travel. I have been happy with the sound quality and the noise quality on the pros. I use them when flying and can easily watch movies without hearing the engines.
